  1. Nice summary. What do you do with the task though? That seems to require setting the home attribute to the location of the findbugs jar, which will be somewhere within your Ivy repository.

  2. Yah, findbugs is a pain in the arse for this. If you let Ivy get it from ibiblio or some other maven repo you cannot use it with the findbugs ant task since it is not in the directory structure that findbugs expects.

    My solution was to have the dl-findbugs task (see the post) which downloads the zip manually and unzips it in a known place. Then you can point the findbugs ant task at that location.
